Announces

Third New Depot Opening in 2022 With Site in Dartford

DX, a leading provider of delivery solutions, including parcel freight, secure courier, 2-Man and logistics services, is pleased to announce the opening of its third new depot in 2022 with a new site in Dartford, Kent.

The Group is continuing its network expansion, signing a long-term lease over a c.28,000 sq. ft. depot located on a 1.2 acre site in Edisons Park, Dartford. This will facilitate the expansion of both the Group's DX Express division, which specialises in secure, next-day document and parcel delivery, and its freight operations at DX Freight.

DX Express's existing c.80-strong team at Swanley in Kent will relocate to the new site, while DX Freight will expand its operations at Swanley into the space vacated by DX Express. As well as supporting capacity expansion in the South East of England, the new depot at Dartford and expanded operation at Swanley will enhance customer service levels in the region. DX expects to expand both teams as they build volumes.

The opening of the Dartford site is part of DX's ongoing investment in its delivery network. Over 12 additional depots are planned to be added to the network over the next two years, substantially increasing the Group's delivery capacity and service levels. Between £20 million and £25 million has been earmarked in a major investment programme that will also drive improvements in parcel-handling equipment and IT infrastructure across the Group.

Lloyd Dunn, Chief Executive Officer at DX (Group) plc, commented:

"We are pleased to open this new DX Express depot in Dartford, our third of the year so far. We are committed to driving improvements across both of the Group's divisions, and this new site will enable us to increase the capacity and service levels of both Express and Freight in the South East of England. Our investment in the business continues, with more than 12 further sites planned to be added to our network over the next two years."
